Really liked this, though it did have its disadvantages. The cure to this weed is classic Outlaws; big nugs, frosty as hell with shades of deep purple, and the abundant tangerine hairs as the cherry on top. Beautiful nugs to say the least. HOWEVER, the smell and taste to this Inferno is average (below average for Outlaws' standards) as it lacks a potent aroma and flavor. Like the Paris No. 1, I get a hay smell and taste. No pine smell, no earthy terps, nada. It's a bit disappointing in that regard as it reminds me of the weed I bought in Florida's dispensaries, where you'd get big, beautiful nugs (BBN) without the plush aroma nor flavor.
That being said, it was a pretty damn good high. Mostly in the head than the body, but for a head high it was still quite sedating. A chillout high, great for reading a book, watching a spooky movie since it's almost Halloween (I've been re-watching Signs; keep in mind the religious themes of both the protagonist and antagonists), or for simply being lazy. This Dante's Inferno can serve as both a creative high and a relaxation/relief strain. Unlike the Paris drop, the effects are more potent and enjoyable. A strong high with its beautiful looks makes this strain high on potential. If only the smell and taste were on par, it'd be one of Outlaws best drops.
I also want to give a shoutout to the OG Inferno by Dante Alighieri from The Divine Comedy. A great read, albeit difficult. We get all of our modern day depictions of Hell from that story alone. Most people think the Bible describes Hell in full detail, but it doesn't. Christians took the imagery from Inferno in The Divine Comedy and applied it to their belief system to push fear onto the public as a means of continuing the Christian pastoral. Anyways, awesome story and cool to see weed being named after it. Hope this Dante's Inferno can be crossed with another strain, and its offspring would be named Purgatory (Purgatorio is the second story in The Divine Comedy and the follow-up to Inferno).
